Meet another friend we made at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center.
I am fairly certain there are birds there too. Not just turtles.
I mean, it is the Audubon Center.

We just needed to escape from the house and the storms. We didn't expect to make a new friend.
If I had known, I would have brushed my hair or brought treats.
Regardless, we met the baby painted turtle currently living at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center.

These sculptures adorning the walls at the beautifuly Grange Insurance Audubon Center were crafted from recycled materials by Michelle Stitzleig.
They were equally as beautiful from a distance and up close.
They also make me wish I could see the beauty in all of the doodads and broken wizzits cluttering our home.
Go to the Audubon Center, and go quickly, because it is so full of beauty.
