Day 24: 290 miles and 1 state

by Kate Djupe

Today, we were saying goodbye to Crater Lake.

and our beautiful campsite.

Paul rode his bike around Crater Lake

while the boys played in the dirt

while I loaded the car.

They are going to have to take this sign down now:

Things I didn't take photos of but should have include Umpqua National Forest - the drive through it was amazing and beautiful; my cousin's beautiful home in Portland; the conversation friendly, kid section (instead of smoking) at Hopworks Brewery.

Things I took pictures of instead (and with my camera phone, no less): the toilet paper dispenser, the flower pots and the beer menu at Hopworks.

I suppose I will have to visit all of these places again to get it right next time.
