We decided to go to Smith Rock for a leisurely hike. We got a late start so we hiked when the sun was high and there was no shade. We didn't bring kid carriers since we thought that the boys would want to run free (they did not want that at all). We didn't check the weather beforehand so we didn't know that we picked a 90+ degree day instead of the 70 degree days that we have been enjoying. We didn't turn around and head back all of the times that we should have. We took the most difficult route possible. But like even the worst of parenting days, it all looks better in pictures.
